Cobra Engineering has the machinery and personnel to carry our any number of machining processes on a large range of materials.
Our machine shop is equipped with three laithes:

	A Colchester Mascot 1600 (1.5m between centres & 0.45m over bed)
	A Colchester Triumph 2000 (1.2m between centres & 0.3m over bed)
	A Ward 2A Capstan (For small batch work)

Our milling duties are performed on a 2 Axis Bridgeport turret mill, and a 3 Axis Elliot Sturdimill, both are fitted with digital read out.

CNC Press

Milling

Our state of the art CNC press brake has an effective working bed of three metres for 2.5mm stainless and can deal with 6mm thick material in shorter lengths. The Computer Numerically Controlled nature of this machine means that it offers very good repeatability for regular or batch work.
